The football fraternity were on 28th August, 2019 baptized with a new episode of footballing by Mbahewe U17 Fc at Chibavi primary school ground during their game against Young Destroyers U17 Fc.
The tight contest between the two teams saw Mbahewe entertaining the spectators with their classic display and beating Young Destroyers 4-1 in the process. And despite their aim of collecting three points but Mbahewe declared an embarrassing war on their opponents. They dominated the match from the first whistle up to the end, having a Lion’s share of the game.
Coach and owner for Mbahewe Fc Chisomo Kamulanje has since sent a stern warning to other teams not to underrate his charges.
” We have assembled a young, dedicated and talented squad this year and will not allow teams to collect points on us on a silver platter,” he said.
Coach for Young Destroyers U17 Fc Sedson Phiri refused to comment on their humiliation.
“What else do you think i can say now? Let’s meet in our next game and i will grant you an interview but now”, said the 34 year old Coach.
