A Malawian woman died in South Africa on wednesday, 18th September, 2019 after being poisoned by unknown people.
Cynthia Nyasulu, 23, returned from work in the Central area of Cape town in company of her two friends. She was later found unconscious by her roommate who came late from work on the material day. Cynthia was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
One of the family members at Mchengautuwa in Mzuzu, Dorothy Nyasulu expressed shock on the untimely departure of their sister, who they used to call ” our beautiful picture”.
“Family members residing in South Africa and the South African Police are working urgently to establish the facts of this incident”, Dorothy said.
The family spokesperson said arrangements to repatriate the dead body are currently underway in South Africa. The deceased went to South Africa soon after completing her Malawi School Certificate Of Education (MSCE) in 2015. She was a third born daughter of Mr & Mrs Nyasulu from T/A Mzukuzuku, in Mzimba District.
